**Project Coordinator**
**$969 per day**

**Role details**:
The Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Project Manager, Business Analyst and Org. Change Manager in activities that relate to the procurement and establishment of Target Operating Models for Service Provisioning within Information Security Division of the department.

These activities include analytical and administrative support to facilitate the planning, control, monitoring and delivery of the operating models in alignment with prescribed Procurement Process within the department.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide a range of project coordination and support services, including preparation of minutes, agenda, reports and briefs, coordinating resources, maintaining project documentation and implementing and monitoring project plans, to ensure project outcomes are achieved on time, on budget, to quality standards and within agreed scope, in line with established agency project management methodology.
- Undertake research and analysis, identifying trends and preparing project briefs, to support informed decision-making and planning
- Interpret, analyse, and document project controls and activities, identifying common themes and issues to support project planning, monitoring and delivery.
- Source, collate and compile data and information to identify emerging issues and track and report on project progress against established milestones and deliverables on behalf of the project team.
- Support the project manager on risks and issues to ensure completeness and compliance with the Agency's Risks and Issues Framework.
- Support the project manager on project development and delivery in line with established plans, budgets, timeframes, policy objectives and other project and priorities
- Communicate with key stakeholders and coordinate working groups, committees, and consultations to facilitate exchange of information and support project completion in line with project plans

**Essential criteria**:

- Tertiary qualifications or equivalent professional experience
- Experience (3 year+) working in complex ICT environments
- **Experience in running strategic procurement activities, preferably in the public sector**:

- Experience in providing project coordination support, or experience in providing administrative support for a teaM/Function.
- Experience in Waterfall and Agile environments to develop requirements artefacts would also be beneficial
