**The Company**

A leading global insurer based in the Sydney CBD has an excellent and rare opportunity available for an experienced Executive Assistant to join their driven and well-established team. Working out of a beautiful office that values its staff, this role is available now as a permanent position.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide high-level executive and administrative support to two senior Executives for a large insurer
- Manage complex and changing diaries, including scheduling meetings across multiple time zones. Participate in meetings, coordinating agendas, preparing documents and presentations
- Prepare and carry out communication on behalf of your Executive with impeccable grammar and an excellent level of attention to detail
- Oversee your Executive’s expense management - reconciling credit card expenditures, filing bank statements, regulatory filings, and other financial elements
- Demonstrate personal leadership by adopting a solutions-focused mindset and proactively taking steps to resolve issues, manage project tasks and communicate with relevant stakeholders as necessary
- Plan and run social events for the team on behalf of the executives

**Required experience**:

- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to be forward-thinking and work with fast-paced & changing priorities
- Self-starter who has a proactive approach and a proven ability to use initiative
- Experience in proactively promoting/establishing an efficient support structure based on the individual Executive
- Ability to perform autonomously and remain calm in a demanding and high-pressure environment
- Ability to deal with sensitive and confidential issues at the Executive level
- Flexible team player, able to quickly adapt and manage workloads against shifting business priorities
- Ability to build effective working relationships with internal & external stakeholders
- Good negotiation and persuasion skills
- Ability to liaise with internal and external contacts in a professional and confident manner
- Proven initiative and a positive attitude
