**Job Description**:
Reporting to the Social Media Manager - Sport, this fast-paced and exciting role is responsible for implementing and executing Stan Sport’s social media strategy. You’ll work closely with the broader Stan Social, Marketing, Sport and Creative teams to create compelling content that drives awareness, engagement and subscriber growth for Stan Sport.

What you will do day-to-day:

- Identify content opportunities and react with lightning speed
- Write succinct, engaging social copy while incorporating key brand messaging
- Shoot, edit and produce entertaining and creative video content
- Work on campaign planning, scheduling, reporting and analysis
- Cover live sporting events and manage community engagement

In season, your days and hours will vary to ensure you can cover matches live. You’ll be comfortable working outside of regular business hours, including early mornings and weekends, to bring sport to fans across our channels.

**Qualifications**:
You’ll be comfortable with all the tools of the trade, including Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Canva, Facebook Creator Studio and Business Manager, as well as native and third-party production, scheduling and reporting tools. You’ll have a solid understanding of social media platform functionality, trends and best practices.

Here's what else you will bring:

- Previous experience managing social media for a large-scale business or brand
- A demonstrated passion for sport (especially rugby, football, tennis and motorsport)
- Experience producing highly engaging social media video
- Experience with content ideation and a knack for identifying fun, original, and impactful content ideas
- Highly developed copywriting skills
- A strong understanding of both organic and paid social media, including platforms, trends and targeting approaches
- The ability to work well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
