About the role;

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Social Media Manager to join the team at Social House Syd' in Sydney, NSW. As a part-time role (looking to grow into full time for the right candidate), you will be responsible for managing a wide variety of different businesses social media accounts and handle the creatives, posting and everything in between

What you'll be doing

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand visibility and engagement.
  • Create and curate engaging and on-brand content for different brands social media channels.
  • Analyse social media data and metrics to measure performance and optimise our social media presence.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and best practices, and make recommendations to improve our strategy.
  • Collaborate with business owners to bring their vision and goals to life.
  • Using cameras, microphones and other professional equipment to create content.
  • Create content calendars on a regular basis for different clients.

What we're looking for

  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar social media management role, ideally in the marketing or communications industry (experience isn't a requirement but a preference)
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices
  • Excellent written and visual communication skills, with the ability to create engaging and on-brand content
  • Proficiency in using social media analytics tools to measure and report on performance
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals
  • Flexibility to work part-time hours, including some evenings and weekends as needed.
