The Project Officer will undertake project management activities by developing, maintaining or supporting formal project plans, supporting estimates, records and registers in accordance with the project lifecycle.

**About the Procurement & Supply Chain Optimisation Portfolio**:
The Procurement & Supply Chain Optimisation (P&SCO) Portfolio builds on the foundational work undertaken in response to the COVID-19 pandemic to drive operational enhancements and realise further Queensland Health system-wide benefits. The P&SCO Portfolio is a time-limited, temporary work program, currently consisting of three program workstreams, designed to improve procurement and supply chain operations across Queensland Health.

**What we are looking for**:

- Demonstrated organisation skills and ability to organise with a high level of independence and to act innovatively, resourcefully and meet deadlines and commitments possessing a logical proactive approach to achieve strategic goals.
- Demonstrated project management skills, including the ability to define project tasks, set priorities and coordinate activities effectively to meet competing deadlines, with a track record of proven and sustained outcomes. Experience with an Agile way of working would be an advantage but not mandatory.
- Conceptual, problem-solving and analytical skills, relevant to the public sector, including developing innovative and practical solutions and providing advice to assist in addressing complex issues.
- Well-developed oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work as part of a high performing team, communicate confidently to a range of audiences and undertake effective consultation and negotiation processes.
- Highly motivated and a demonstrated flexibility to work, including the ability to work autonomously or as a member of a team with due regard for goals, objectives and priorities, and participate in cross program initiatives to address critical issues as required by management.This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Australia License.
