We are seeking the services of an experienced Project Cost Controller or Scheduler to join us in delivering our service to a large state government owned corporation.

This role can be based at any one of a multiple office locations throughout South East QLD including our CPM offices at Fortitude Valley or Ipswich. If working from home is preferred, this will also be offered.

In this role you will be responsible for:

- Providing cost control advice and financial mentoring to Project Managers to support them in the development of budgets, forecasts, change control and analysis of financial results for their complex projects
- Preparation of the monthly Project Financial dashboards including analysis of actuals and forecasts and commentary to highlight key issues or concerns.
- Review of project financial transactions to ensure accurate reporting

The successful applicant will possess the following;
- Financial management experience working on large resources or infrastructure projects
- Tertiary qualifications in accounting, commerce, business studies, or similar
- Relevant experience in financial accounting and reporting, with large capital expenditure project experience (desirable)
- Extensive experience in interacting with multiple stakeholders in a multi-discipline large scale project
- Experience in budgeting and reporting in a government context (desirable)

This role is available to start immediately. The initial engagement period will be for 6 months with a likely 12 months extension.
