(Note: must be available to work early mornings and weekends)
- Personal Care, Disability, Community Services, or Aged Care qualifications and/or experience.
- Knowledge of personal care supports and the safe delivery of medication.
- Experience with NDIS programs and participants.
- Experience working with complex clients.
- Computer literacy to interact successfully with our client management system.
- A driver’s license and have reliable access to a vehicle prior to employment.

Successful applicants will be required to:

- Facilitate supports for clients of all ages and abilities and guide them to participate in activities within their homes and the community.
- Be flexible in accordance with the specific needs of our clients. This will include the ability to complete morning and afternoon shifts as required, as well as complete sleepover shifts for clients with overnight personal care needs.
- Successfully support clients with complex needs as required.
- Collaborate as part of a team and work with a diverse range of clients.

DFS is prepared to support individuals to obtain the following checks as a further condition of their employment:

- Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- NDIS Worker’s Check (NDISWC)
- Police Check
