Disability Support Worker

Heart and Soul Support is growing and we are looking for the perfect support workers to join our team Our clients are based mainly throughout the Sutherland Shire, however, we have opportunities in the Illawarra and other Sydney suburbs. Our clients require support for many activities such as Community Access, Daily tasks, Personal Care, Physical exercise, and meal preparation among others.

**Skills, Experience &Certifications**:

- Knowledge and understanding of matters affecting people with different abilities and their families
- An Australian driver’s license and reliable transport
- Current First Aid ad CPR Certificate
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current National Police Check
- Reliability and compassion for everyone
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
- Previous experience as a Support Worker will be highly regarded but not required
- Proof of double COVID Vaccination
- Be able to work independently with team support

Heart & Soul Support is a family-run organization started by two passionate support workers and advocates who want to enable people of all abilities to experience and explore life their way. We support participants of all ages to achieve their personal, social, recreation, employment, and life goals. We do this through 1:1 support and group support seven days a week. H&S Support aims to break down the stigma around mental health, aged care, and disabilities and advocates for the inclusion of everyone. We support and empower people to live life the way they choose.

**Pay Rate **_**(Casual)**_**:
From $35 Hourly Rate + 10% Super up to $64 Hourly Rate + 10% Super depending on shift. (Not including Public Holiday Rates).
