Talent International is searching for an experienced **Change Management Lead** to join our client, a leading mining services company. This is a permanent role based in **South Brisbane**.

**About the role**:
The primary purpose of this role is to lead the change management team within the Digital & Technology PMO, create and implement change management strategies and ensure technology changes are managed appropriate to business needs. This includes maximising employee engagement and system adoption, minimising employee resistance and business disruption, and ensuring consistent change processes are applied to all projects managed or overseen by the Digital & Technology PMO.

**Key Result Areas**:

- Deals effectively with issues, conflict and problems and escalates matters for resolution as required

- Conduct change analysis - stakeholder analysis, change impact and gap analysis, training needs analysis
- Identify potential people-side risks and anticipated points of resistance and develop specific plans to migrate or address concerns
- Conduct impact assessments, evaluate results and present finding in a logical and easy to understand manner
- Identify resistance and performance gaps and work to develop and implement corrective actions
- Align change strategies with broader organisational strategies
- Create and implement Technology change processes and procedures to ensure consistent delivery of change process across technology projects initiated by the various business units.
- Develop a change management strategy based on a situational awareness of the details of the change and the groups being impacted by the change.
- Develop a set of actionable and targeted change management plans
- Work with project teams to integrate change management activities into the overall project plan.
- Provide change management advice and support to the managers of technology projects initiated by business groups
- Identify items of work that require change management
- Define change scope, objectives, outcomes and benefits and track issues and risks in accordance with company standards.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with key Business Unit stakeholders at all levels.
- Manage stakeholders appropriately to ensure alignment with both strategic and tactical initiatives and ensure agreed communication protocols are met.
- Create project communication plans.

**Experience and Skills Required**:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Psychology/Business/ HR/ Technology or studying towards (or equivalent demonstrated experience)
- Formal training and certification in Change Management methodologies
- Substantial knowledge, experience and achievement as a senior change agent in a large organisation; ability to lead transformational change, business wide engagement, organisational capacity building and cultural change programs.
- Prior experience defining and embedding processes within a team
- Experience mentoring and developing skills in more junior team members
- Demonstrated ability to successfully lead and implement change management processes and achieve buy-in.
- Demonstrated achievement in developing clear and comprehensive documentation including communications plans, processes and resistance management plans.
- Prior experience working internationally preferred.
- Exposure to METS and / or mining sector preferred.
- Prior experience working on IT / Technology projects
- Strong understanding and ability to implement change management processes.
- Experience with business process improvement concepts and techniques.
- Strong business project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills.
