The insights analyst plays a core role in assisting with laying a data-driven foundation to assist with achieving business objectives. They leverage both qualitative and/or quantitative research techniques to lead targeted research studies in existing and new industries, for various target customer segments, and within specific markets and regions.

**Individual Accountabilities**:

- Support and run various primary and secondary research studies, including exploratory primary customer research, generative innovation and design research, evaluative concept and customer testing, field test and experiments, market and customer segmentation, market scans and trends analysis
- Preparation of research plans from stakeholder requirements and undertake quantitative and/or qualitative research studies
- Ensure good research hygiene practices and drive tight research operations from design, recruitment, fieldwork, synthesis, insights development and reporting
- Analyse and synthesise data from multiple sources and datasets to develop actionable insights based on the prevalent business issues and/or opportunities
- Clear documentation of research projects, including associated processes and procedures
- Communication and promotion research project outcomes with a diverse range of stakeholders

**Skills, Experience and Qualifications**:

- Experience working with quantitative and qualitative research techniques
- Background and experience in psychology, behavioural science, behavioural economics

**Shared Accountabilities**:

- Collaborate with business units to increase their connection with our customers
- Upskill research and insights competencies within peers across other business units
- Collaborate with designers in other business units to ensure insights are reflected in new product design (software and hardware)
