Nursing Pre-Admission Service
- Perioperative Services

The Perioperative Services department consists of 21 operating theatres and procedure rooms catering to a wide range of surgical specialties and procedures. Our Nursing Pre-Admission Service makes telephone calls to Elective surgical patients prior to their procedure to complete a preoperative nursing assessment.

How you will make an impact

The Computer Clerk/Unit Receptionist is responsible for administrative tasks and data entry for the Nursing Pre-Admission service and performs all duties to that of a Unit Receptionist.

We offer a supportive and challenging environment where our friendly team work closely to achieve the best patient outcomes and provide high standards of care.

Key responsibilities:
- Reception admin duties, and data entry into Patient Administrative System (PAS)- Liaises with doctor’s rooms and reception staff to ensure correct details and referrals are made- Answers telephones and ensures accurate recording and delivery of messages

About you

Along with providing dedicated assistance to our healthcare team and patients.

You will have the following:
- Proven clerical experience, hospital setting desired. (preferred)- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel- Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and are able to problem solve.- Positive attitude and be adaptable to change within an evolving service- Excellent communication and time management skills, and works respectfully within the team.
