How you will make an impact
An new opportunity is available for an experienced Storeperson to join the Supply team at Cabrini Malvern, where you will be responsible for coordinating Theatre stock. If you are detail-oriented, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and are eager to contribute to quality healthcare services, we want to hear from you
This role will see you predominantly servicing Theatre medical consumable supplies and as such, previous experience in Hospital Logistics will be highly regarded, however, we will provide training to ensure you thrive in your role. Some manual handling will be required, lifting and moving items according to Workplace Health & Safety practices.
The Supply team work a range of shifts from 6AM-9PM Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday shifts.
Key responsibilities include:
- Scanning and generating Imprest orders, receiving and delivering stock to Imprest wards in a timely manner- Conducting expiry checks, ensuring stock is stored correctly and safely and processing invoices- Assisting as directed with EOFY stocktakes and rolling stocktakes as well as performing other warehouse duties as required- Supporting the Supply team in day-to-day operations
About you
You will also have the following:
- Experience in a similar role (advantageous)- Strong attention to detail and sound organisational and time management skills- Sound computer, technology and administration skills- Professional and respectful verbal communication and interpersonal skills- An ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with managers and colleagues- Maintains composure in a busy and sometimes challenging customer service environment- Willingness to learn with a ‘can do’ attitude, be punctual and reliable, and contribute as an effective team member
