How you will make an impact

The Computer Clerk in our Nursing Preadmission Service focuses on delivering high standards of customer service for our patients, family members, nursing staff and medical officers in a fast-paced environment.

We offer a supportive role where our friendly team work closely to achieve the best patient outcomes while performing high standards of administrative work, with a large focus on Elective Surgery patient Pre-Admission screening to ensure our patients are ready for their procedures.

Key responsibilities:
- Reception administrative duties, and data entry into Patient Administrative System (PAS)- Liaises with doctor’s rooms and nursing staff to ensure correct patient details and make referrals for our patients- Answers telephones and ensures accurate recording and delivery of messages- Responds quickly to emergency situations, ensuring correct personnel are contacted.

About you
Along with providing dedicated assistance to our healthcare team and patients.

You will have the following:
- Proven clerical experience, hospital setting desired. (preferred)- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and Teams- Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and are able to problem solve.- Positive attitude and be adaptable to change within an evolving service- Excellent communication and time management skills, and works respectfully within the team.
