How you will make an impact
Cabrini Malvern is seeking an experienced Ward Clerk to join our Maternity Services team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will assist with bookings, provide updates to patients, answer inquiries, and schedule interviews and tours.
As a Ward Clerk, flexibility and adaptability are essential, as you will be working in a busy and fast-paced environment. Shift work will be required to support the provision of our services while maintaining a high standard of care for patients, visitors, and staff, in alignment with the Mission and Values of Cabrini.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Performing reception duties, offering hospitality and efficient services to all visitors and hospital staff
- Maintaining confidentiality and respect with sensitive information
- Answering telephone calls and responding to telephone and other enquiries
- Attending to patient requests, and referring to the appropriate person if unable to assist
About you
Along with commitment to providing exceptional customer service, you will also have the following:
- Recent reception experience (ideally within a hospital service)
- Excellent computer skills and ability to learn software quickly
- Flexibility and a positive attitude
- Professional manner in person and over phone/email
- Strong attention to detail
- Enthusiasm for participation in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
