The Program Office works closely with senior officers across the business to scope, deliver, and drive benefits realisation across key business transformation projects, and to strengthen the capability of Pathology Queensland in managing projects and driving positive change.
Support risk and issue identification, assessment, and mitigation activities by ensuring risks and issues are documented, reviewed, and escalated as appropriate.
Key competencies (role specific criteria)
You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following:

- Experience in a project environment, including risk management, reporting, and budgeting, document development and an ability to coordinate the delivery of work packages.
- Experience in, or the ability to assist with the compilation of program/project information, maintenance of program/project files and the preparation and presentation of management reports.
- Experience in asset management, procurement activities, Microsoft Project, S/4Hana and Service Now would be highly regarded.
- Knowledge of appropriate project management methodologies (preferably PRINCE2), and an ability to provide advice on the use of appropriate project management techniques, methodologies, and tools.
- Proven effective oral and written communication skills, and an ability to work in a team environment developing effective relationships with stakeholders.
- Demonstrated analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills and an ability to coordinate multiple tasks within agreed priorities, timeframes, and accountabilities.

Qualifications, registrations, and other requirements
- Whilst not mandatory, a relevant qualification in project management would be well regarded.
- Whilst not mandatory, knowledge of Queensland Health's Project Delivery Framework would be well regarded.
