As an Area Manager, you will lead from the front and loves spending time on the floor, not just in an office. You will be visible on the floor working with your team to achieve successful results every day. Your approach must be big picture while ensuring the daily deliverables are met. You will set the standard for excellence and be the "go to" resource for any questions, (big and small) as well as feedback (both praise and supportive). As the leader in the Area, you are excited to know our brands and your customers. You have a clear understanding that our success rests with your customers. You'll work to help your team achieve targets, create a welcoming atmosphere, demonstrate efficiency, and ensure outstanding looking stores with happy team members and customers is a daily deliverable.

**The roles and responsibilities**:
*Developing sales strategies and plans to achieve sales and profit goals by leading, developing, and motivating sales associates.

*Ensuring that sales staff is appropriately trained and competent to perform their job duties

*Providing ongoing training, motivation, and development of sales associates to ensure that sales and profits are effectively managed and maintained

*Developing and implementing sales and marketing plans to drive sales and profit

*Meeting or exceeding targeted sales quotas and productivity standards

*Providing consistent and motivated leadership and direction to all staff and team members

*Developing new business relationships and driving the continued growth of our service division

*Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and maximise market share within the assigned area.

*Conduct regular visits to Stores, providing product knowledge and support to drive sales.

*Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product improvement and innovation.

*Prepare and analyse sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to track performance and identify areas for improvement.

*Work closely with internal teams, including Sales, technicians, operations, and distribution, to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives and meet customer expectations.

**Requirements**:

- Proven track record of successful area sales manager experience in a retail environment.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and achieving sales targets.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the designated territory.
- Maintaining and growing existing sales further
- Effective decision-making skills
- Ability to actively drive growth and find opportunities for staff growth and performance
- Advanced influencing & negotiating skills.
- High level of interpersonal and relationship building skills
