We have an opportunity for you to join the Asahi Lifestyle Beverages (ALB) Foodservices team looking after our largest Foodservice Wholesalers, Mining, Catering, Airport and Hotel customers. As the National Account Manager - Food Service.
Reporting to the National Channel Manager, you will be responsible for managing the relationship and commercial responsibility for our largest foodservice and mining clients’ across our total portfolio brands, include: Pepsi, Gatorade, Schweppes and more. You will be accountable for achieving agreed budget sales targets through strategic account management to deliver promotional planning, execution of the commercial plan, negotiating, and renewing trading terms.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement growth plans with existing customers and seek out new business opportunities
- Understand customer strategic direction and leverage with ALB activity and incentives
- Monitor competitor activity and take relative action to ensure ALB continues to grow ahead of market
- Provides input to sales forecast and financial performance of channel by volume, brands, pack, value and trade investment expenditure.
- Support the state teams to develop effective functional relationships with key retailers
- Ensure ALB is amongst ‘best practice’ vendors in servicing key customer and meeting customer KPIs
- Work effectively with Channel Marketing, States and customers to ensure effective implementation of Commercial Plan.
- Achieve agreed targeted KPIs through effective account management.
- Work effectively with Channel Strategy and Activation teams to ensure effective implementation of the Commercial Plan.
**About You**
Success in this role will come from demonstrated experience as a National Account Manager from within the FMCG industry. You will have exceptional financial / commercial acumen which will be demonstrated through your customer management success.
Other key skills and experience we are looking for are:
- Commercial tertiary qualification preferred
- Food service experience preferred but not imperative
- Strong product & Category Expertise
- Ability to negotiate and influence cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders
