Description:
Our Opportunity

The People and Project Coordinator will be responsible for conducting event coordination across the People, Projects & Capability Department. They will monitor the department’s shared mailboxes and assist with administration for each of the associated teams. The Coordinator will manage learner and customer queries and feedback, ensuring high satisfaction rates for work completed within the department. The Coordinator will play a key role in monitoring the progress of various projects and sharing information and updates.

The position will ensure that event coordination is conducted promptly with a strong focus on attention to detail, as well as financial and time restraints.

This position is primarily remote-based; however, the Coordinator will facilitate occasional in-person training sessions at our Cannon Hill location.

Key Responsibilities

Provide administrative support, including onboarding/offboarding, records management/verification, and filing
Coordinate and manage in-person and virtual events in collaboration with the People, Projects, and Capability Department, including researching, negotiating, and booking vendors, venues and suppliers, troubleshooting and documenting outcomes
Work with the Project and Resource Manager to monitor projects, provide updates, and plan meetings using project-management software
Monitor shared inboxes and act as the first point of contact for internal and external inquiries

Skills and Experiences:
About You
- High level of personal organisation, initiative and resourcefulness to effectively split time between areas
- Great attention to detail
- Ability to work with data and databases
- Customer service and management experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and within a high-performing team
- Computer proficiency, to include Microsoft Office, Teams, and Zoom
- Ability to maintain confidentiality

Required Experience

Experience working with the Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), Learning Management Systems (LMS) and/or record-keeping systems
Event coordination experience
Administration or office management experience

Desirable Experience

Project management experience and/or certificate
Personal or executive assistant experience
Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources Management or working towards
