About Us

DMC Projects is a boutique development and project management consultancy known for its strategic leadership, hands-on approach, and commitment to excellence. Acting as our client's representative, we manage projects from inception through to completion, ensuring every stakeholder is aligned and every detail is delivered to the highest standard.

The Role

As a Client-Side Project Manager, you will oversee the full lifecycle of development projects, from feasibility and planning through to delivery and handover. You'll coordinate consultants, manage approvals, and ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and in line with client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning and Execution

  • Develop comprehensive project plans including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.

  • Ensure accurate forecasting and reporting of financial metrics throughout the project lifecycle.

Quality Assurance and Compliance

  • Oversee quality control processes to ensure construction activities meet regulatory requirements and quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant statutory and legislative requirements, including the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (QLD).

Client and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Maintain proactive communication with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities to address project requirements and concerns.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships to enhance project delivery and client satisfaction.

Risk Management and Problem Solving

  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimise project disruptions and ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Implement proactive measures to manage project risks and contingencies effectively.

Reporting and Documentation

  • Prepare and present regular project status reports, progress updates, and financial summaries to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, records, and correspondence throughout the project lifecycle.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in project management or property development (whether from a client side or contractor background)
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Ability to manage complex projects and competing priorities
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
  • Tertiary qualifications in property, construction, or project management

Why Join Us?

At DMC Projects, you'll be part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team that values initiative, integrity, and professional growth. We offer a dynamic work environment, exciting projects, and the opportunity to make a real impact in shaping the built environment.
