Our people are at the heart of our recent success and as our business continues to grow, we remain committed to fostering a supportive and dynamic work environment where every team member can thrive. As such, we are expanding our HR team with the addition of a newly created HR Coordinator position.
The HR Coordinator will play a vital role, assisting our small, close-knit HR team with HR programs and initiatives, and supporting the business by managing HR administration and ensuring efficient and effective communication between people and departments.
This is a broad, hands-on role supporting the ANZ team including:
- Assisting in the recruitment process, including HRIS (Workday) administration, job postings, resume screening, background checks, and coordinating interviews.
- Responding to internal and external HR inquiries and providing support on day-to-day HR-related matters.
- Coordinating onboarding processes including collating new employee packs and coordinating the company induction program and probation process
- Preparing HR documentation, maintaining employee records and assisting with HRIS (Workday) troubleshooting
- Maintaining GN’s reward and recognition portal
- Supporting HR projects, reporting requirements and continuous improvement initiatives
- Assisting with the employee offboarding process
- Liaising with the finance team regarding employee changes, workers compensation payments and other payroll related matters
- Providing administrative support to the HR team for cyclical HR processes including annual merit and bonus process, talent review and engagement surveys
- Supporting with the implementation of employee engagement initiatives, meetings, events and training programs
- Providing office-related administrative support including security passes, catering, office supplies and management of our parking app
About You
This position will suit an individual with experience in a similar role, HRIS experience (Workday preferred) and formal studies in HR, IR, Business Administration or Psychology.
A solid understanding of employee lifecycle processes, HR documentation and compliance requirements is essential as well as familiarity with Fair Work Act, NES and Modern Awards. Knowledge of NZ labour laws and WHS regulations will be highly regarded.
To be successful in this role you will need exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships, maintain confidentiality and deal with sensitive situations in a diplomatic manner.
