Role Purpose
We are seeking a Recruitment Marketing Manager to lead and deliver innovative strategies that position Uniting as an employer of choice across New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory.
In this role, you will make a tangible difference by ensuring we attract the right talent to deliver vital services to thousands of people every day. Reporting to the Marketing Lead, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing recruitment marketing initiatives that align with Uniting’s values, priorities, and broader brand strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead recruitment marketing across NSW and ACT in alignment with Uniting’s brand.
- Design and deliver targeted campaigns to engage priority talent pools, including aged care, early learning, community, disability, and regional services.
- Partner with People Experience, Talent Acquisition, and service leaders to develop effective attraction strategies.
- Lead recruitment marketing presence at expos, job fairs, and recruitment events, including branding, collateral, and activations.
- Create engaging recruitment content such as employee stories, videos, digital assets, and social campaigns to showcase Uniting’s values and culture.
- Optimise Uniting’s careers site in collaboration with digital teams.
- Manage external partners and the internal studio to deliver high-quality content and campaigns.
- Support wider brand marketing initiatives including SEO, research, content development, and campaigns.
- Benchmark competitor activity and conduct market perception analysis to inform strategy.
- Represent recruitment marketing confidently in stakeholder meetings, including with senior leaders.
- Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring all recruitment marketing strengthens Uniting’s reputation as an employer of choice.
Qualifications and Experience
- 6-8+ years’ experience in marketing, with proven expertise in recruitment marketing or employer branding.
- Demonstrated success in digital recruitment marketing, including SEM, SEO, paid social, and campaign optimisation.
- Experience creating marketing collateral and managing event branding (e.g. expos, job fairs, community activations).
- Strong project and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
- A versatile professional, confident in both leading stakeholder meetings and managing hands-on campaign delivery.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with experience engaging leaders at all levels, including executives.
- Agency and vendor management experience.
- Proven ability to integrate Employee Value Proposition (EVP) and brand into recruitment marketing strategies.
