Planning Manager

**ABOUT THE ROLE**: G+D are currently in the market looking for an organised and detail-orientated Planning Manager with a strong background in production planning, to join our team in our Knoxfield Site.
In this role, you will be responsible for effectively planning and scheduling production activities to meet customer demands and maximise efficiency. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of a leading manufacturer. If you have a passion for production planning, exceptional organisational skills, and a desire to make a positive impact, we want to hear from you. **Key Responsibilities**:
- Create and maintain production schedules based on customer demand and company goals
- Collaborate with various departments to coordinate production activities and ensure on-time delivery
- Analyse material and resource requirements and ensure availability to meet production targets
- Monitor inventory levels and expedite procurement of materials when necessary
- Identify bottlenecks in production processes and propose solutions to improve efficiency
- Coordinate with logistics to schedule product shipments and track delivery status
- Monitor and report on production KPIs, such as on-time delivery, productivity, and cost performance
- Engage in regular forecasting and labour planning meetings.

What key skills, experience & attributes we are looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Proven experience in production planning in a technology related manufacturing industry
- Strong knowledge of production scheduling techniques and materials planning methods
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in using production planning software and ERP systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Detail-orientated and highly organised
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Pronto preferable
- Goal-oriented and proactive in achieving outcomes.
- Dynamic, customer-engaged, and knowledgeable about the industry.
- Entrepreneurial spirit with a strong sense of accountability.
- Operates with urgency, integrity, and respect for quality and people.
