**The Role**
The MQ-28 Project Office EL1 Business Manager will be accountable under broad direction to provide complex workforce and operational advice to the MQ-28 Project Office Executives and greater workforce, in particular relating to legislation and policy.
You will be responsible for oversight on a broad range of internal business functions such as operations management, strategic and business planning, workforce and governance within the MQ-28 Project Office.
Responsibilities for the role include:
- Accountable for managing allocated resources, setting work area priorities, managing workflows, developing strategies and evaluating business outcomes.
- Accountable for managing a small integrated team, including providing clear and consistent communication, setting clear performance and behavioural standards, managing performance, delegating responsibility and guiding and developing people.
- Accountable to perform complex procedural, operational, administrative and business management activities that support the delivery of MQ-28 outcomes.
**About our Team**
You will join a dynamic Enterprise, working collaboratively in an integrated Military/APS workforce with Industry Partners and Air Force to directly support and deliver vital Defence capability in support of Australia’s national interests.
The role of the EL1 Business Manager within the MQ-28 Project Office is to manage and oversee key operational, workforce and governance requirements in support of the MQ-28 capability and supporting systems.
You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, being able to build relationships with all key stakeholders. You will be outcome focused, possess a demonstrated strategic thinking ability, and thrive in a high tempo environment managing many competing priorities.
You will be an Australian citizen who already holds, or is able to readily obtain and maintain a NV1 Security clearance. You are able to work in Brisbane/RAAF Base Amberley, South East Queensland.
