**The Role**
Joint Logistics Unit South Queensland seeks a high performing, experienced Administrator who is enthusiastic, flexible and highly organised to provide business services for the Unit and support the Business Manager to successfully deliver business strategy and objectives, whilst adhering to regulatory compliance.

In this role you will lead a team of professionals and coordinate the operational administration and business support services for an integrated workforce comprising ADF, APS and contracted personnel.

Duties will include establishing and maintaining knowledge management systems, administrative services, and the development, management and continuous improvement of the business systems framework including compliance with the ISO9001 standard.

**About our Team**
Joint Logistics Unit South Queensland (JLU(SQ)) delivers logistics services including warehousing, distribution and material maintenance to Defence customers in Southeast Queensland, nationally and overseas.

The role operates within the Business Management (BM) team. The BM team is responsible for providing advice to senior leadership and accountable for the business services, corporate governance and inventory assurance in the day-to-day operational function of JLU(SQ).

Business Management plans, manages and performs business support services to JLU(SQ), including our industry partners, across a broad range of functions and activities including Workplace Health and Safety (WHS), security, human resources, inventory assurance, data analysis, travel, records management, facilities, finance and procurement.

JLU(SQ) is dedicated to maintaining a learning culture and so, you can undertake additional professionalisation training to enhance your skills.

To succeed in this role, you need:

- Demonstrated experience in coordinating administrative and business support activities for an organisation.
- The skills, knowledge and experience necessary to provide advice and services for a range of complex corporate, administration and business support activities.
- A proven ability to engage and negotiate with stakeholders on complex issues to achieve business outcomes.
- An ability to work collaboratively to build and sustain effective relationships and operate as an effective team member.
- An ability to work in a fluid environment by remaining flexible, agile and adaptable.
- A keen eye for detail and exceptional communication skills.
