**About the team**

College Services provides academic administration and technical support services to the University’s schools, including Heads of School, academic staff and research students. The team is committed to providing effective and efficient services in support of the Schools’ and University’s strategic objectives, with a focus on continuous improvement and best practice.

The Schools Operations team provides academic support services and general administrative support to the University’s Schools.

**About the opportunity**

As the appointee you will, under general direction, provide expertise in a wide variety of administrative duties to support the operations of the Global MD program. These include Student engagement, admissions, selection, orientation and student transitions between campuses and clinical placements. You will work collaboratively across the Global MD team to ensure high quality service provision and student-focused responses to changing demands.
- Provide general administrative support for the Global MD program across all functions associated with School Operations
- Provide administrative support for the Global MD Executive Leadership Team
- Coordinate virtual and in-person meetings and international events with our Arizona based Global MD team, students and alumni
- Coordinate Global MD student/staff on-boarding and administration support
- Develop marketing and social media engagement for the Global MD Program working synergistically with colleagues in Brand, Marketing and Recruitment (BMR)
- Liaise with the Arizona-based marketing teams (Global MD Arizona) to provide updates to the University websites and Intranet pages
- Provide support with internal and external engagement activities undertaken by UWA Medical School
- Prepare agenda and minutes for committees and take follow up actions when required
- Liaise and work collaboratively with other teams across the Medical School and College Services, providing administrative assistance support, across a range of areas, including support for teaching programs as required
- Respond appropriately to complex and detailed enquiries using judgement and initiative
- Other duties as directed

**About you**

To be considered for this opportunity, you will have:

- Relevant degree qualification or demonstrated equivalent competency
- Substantial relevant administrative experience at an appropriate level in tertiary student support, admissions and engagement
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, social media platforms, and content management systems
- Ability to provide reports on the effectiveness of social media and website analytics
- Well-developed organisational skills and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
- Demonstrated written, verbal, digital, social media and/or marketing experience to effectively communicate to a wide variety of audiences.
- Ability to work independently, show initiative and work productively as part of a team
- Commitment to providing a high level of quality customer service
