**Discover the Opportunity**
To co-ordinate the distribution operations of the Opal Bags Solution business to meet customer delivery requirements, manage finished goods & raw materials within the business, ensuring stock accuracies and delivery performance to support business objectives. With a strong focus on import and export processing and scheduling.
Key Duties:
- Ensuring activities support Opal Bags Solution Thomastown focus on Zero Harm and Nil Injuries.
- Manage all the despatch and receipt operations in line with Distribution Cost budget
- Ensure the smooth operation of both receipt and despatch operations
- Identify areas and faults that result in unnecessary waste. Recommend and implement appropriate corrective actions
- Nominating port cartage providers for certain lanes and providing rates to DSV who pay on our behalf and managing vendor relationship and processe
- Manage all inter site/warehouse/3PLs transfers supported with appropriate documentation
- Scheduling Date and Time Slots for loading of export containers and issuing schedule

You will require
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong experience in import export logistics and 3PL operations
- Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- General knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP
- Excellent computer skills
- Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Good written and verbal communication skills
