Authorised by the Australian Government, VETASSESS is Australia’s largest skills assessment provider. VETASSESS are recognised for their expertise in assessments built on over 25 years’ experience in assessing the qualifications and work experience of prospective migrants. The education sector has experienced fundamental change over recent years, due to the pandemic and government reform across the sector. As a result, there is a significant opportunity to be part of the growth of VETASSESS.
As Head of Business Development, you will hold responsibility for achieving the sales objectives for a suite of education and learning products targeted at the VET, higher education and business sectors. Reporting to and being under broad direction of the Executive Director, you will lead new business and sales initiatives. You will use data as an asset, through the developing and implementation of a market territory action plan, as well as managing, maintaining and communicating processes for tracking the status of leads and current clients. You will have a strong understanding of customer business drivers, as well as strong relationship building ability with key stakeholders to foster ongoing strategic partnerships.
To be considered for this opportunity, you will be a proven sales and business development executive with expertise in the VET or higher education. You will have demonstrated sales and marketing skills that are highly effective and responsive to partner, stakeholder and customer needs. Using your influencing skills to positively collaborate and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels, you will have capability in planning, leading and executing successful sales management processes. Coupled with your high-level communication, interpersonal, problem solving, presentation, planning and organisational skills, you will have the ability to balance client-focused persuasion with high professionalism and ethics. Relevant tertiary qualifications are necessary for the role.
