**The Organisation**:
Our client is an industry leader and innovator in the fitness active wear industry. Built on culture and a supportive team, the business continues to take leap and bounds in terms of its growth and as a direct result is now looking to grow its team and have someone come on board to assist in the accounting team as an Accounts Receivable Officer.

**The Responsibilities**:
Reporting into the Senior Financial Accountant, the role will consist of many duties and responsibilities, however not exclusive to:

- Generate / send invoices and customer statements
- Contact customer to verify validity and accuracy of outstanding amounts owed
- Cross check customer account before releasing orders
- Release order upon receipt of payments from customers
- Communicate with customers to follow up on overdue payments
- Allocate payments from customer to relevant invoices
- Process and allocation credit card payments from customers
- Monitor requirements for provision for doubtful debt and alert the Senior Financial Accountant where customer collection risk is identified
- Ability to prioritise and manage expectations of internal and external stakeholders
- Relevant experience in a similar role
- Demonstrates adherence to directions and company procedures and code of conduct
- High attention to detail and ability to work with mínimal supervision to level of competence
- Continuous process improvement and automation mindset
- Demonstrates and promotes professional standards of behaviour and presentation
- Demonstrates initiative and general business acumen
- Demonstrated emotional maturity and professional integrity
- High standards of accuracy & precision, highly organised
- Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Actively embraces rapid change and ambiguity
- Intermediate skills in MS Suite of Products, particularly excel.
- Technically proficient in mid to first tier ERP systems (preferably AP21)
