A vacancy currently exists in the Perth Office for a full time Credit Officer. Working closely with the Finance team you will be responsible for:
- To ensure that all income is recognised and reconciled within prescribed timeframes
- Follow up and resolve revenue discrepancies.
- Liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure the accuracy of the accounts.
- Prepare monthly accrual journals.
- Follow up to ensure that accruals are invoiced in the next period.
- Preparing debtors reports
- Preparing contra adjustments
- Reconciling AR GL reconciliations.
- Raising invoices and credit note adjustments.
- Ensuring audit procedures are followed
- Setting up price books for sites adhoc billing
- Setting up recurring invoicing.
- Reconciling the P&L for cost reimbursable invoicing.
This role will necessitate the successful applicant to have the following skills and knowledge:
- A sound knowledge of P&L accounting and AR
- Knowledge of Excel spreadsheets
- Oracle experience would be advantageous but not essential
- Excellent communication skills and customer service skills for both internal and external customers.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and work well under pressure
- Ability to work as part of a team.
