An exciting opportunity for a Credit Control Officer to join a WA State Government department.

**Your new company**
We have partnered with a government department client to assist in their search for a Credit Control Officer. Reporting into the team leader, the role will focus on debt collection with from internal and external stakeholders in a healthcare setting.
The role is based in the Western Suburbs and is a 3 month temporary assignment with extension possibilities. Ideally you will be immediately available and ready to start as soon as possible.

**Your new role**
As a Credit Control Officer, you will be assisting with debt collection and your responsibilities will include:

- Financial transactions including invoicing, debt management and debt write off, receipting and refunds
- Prepare and distributes follow up of outstanding accounts
- Other admin duties as required
- Identify areas for improve in procedures and policies
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders

**What you'll need to succeed**
Previous experience as a Credit Control Officer is essential, as is:

- Experience in various financial transactions and processes
- MS Excel skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Good communication
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving
- Great attitude towards work
