Reception
- Greet patients in a warm and welcoming professional manner.
- Communicate with patients in a friendly, respectful and empathetic tone.
- Demonstrate high attention to detail in ensuring all relevant patient information is recorded accurately and comprehensively.
- Ensure all required paperwork is promptly completed for each patient.
- Prepare patient accounts and obtain payment prior to patient departure.
- Arrange DVA transport, as required.
- Receive and answer incoming calls. Queue or direct calls as needed.
- Ensure cleanliness in reception areas, clinic workspaces and consultation rooms.
- Restock clinic supplies throughout the day as required.
- Take payments and make bookings for patients

Administration
- Maintain patient files with relevant, accurate and up to date information.
- Provide timely and accurate information when answering patient enquiries and scheduling bookings.
- Make patient bookings, manage patient enquiries, reschedule patient appointments and confirm both consult and diagnostic clinic appointments.
- Provide administrative support to doctors as required.
- Update the doctor database as required.
- Assist with handling queries from suppliers, doctors and affiliates.
- Archive patient files as required.
- Distribute and open mail, actioning as required.
- Monitor and maintain supplies of stationery and consumables.
- Ensure OH&S policies and procedures are being followed

**What you'll need to succeed**
- 2+ years experience working as a Medical Receptionist
- Strong attention to detail and highly organised
- Strong communication skills (verbal & written)
- Strong admin background and able to learn new software & policies, quickly
- 3 x COVID vaccinations
- Immediately Available / ASAP start
- Experience with Medicare / Medical Reception Software is ideal
- Full time office hours | 8:30 - 4:30 (Mon-Fi)
