The Department of Customer Service (DCS) is undertaking an ambitious digital transformation of government services.
Government Technology Platforms (GTP) forms part of Digital NSW, an agency within DCS, and delivers digital capabilities and infrastructure solutions to many NSW Government agencies.

**About the Role**:
You will be joining the fast-growing GTP team supporting the identification and management of ICT Risks within the organisation.
Collaboration and communication will be two of your strengths. You work well with others, can be trusted to also work independently to deliver on promises, but also know when to speak up when assistance is required.
You will be working closely with our digital delivery team, who are transforming the way that citizens and businesses of New South Wales interact with digital licenses and regulation.
Also work closely with the Complaints, Compliance & Enforcement (CCE) Program which is key to DCS’ vision to give the people of NSW a great customer experience when they interact with NSW government regulators and forms part of the overall e.Regulation strategy to create the world's easiest and secure digital regulatory experiences.
**Your Role Will Involve**:
- Working with all levels of the business to accurately identify and manage ICT Risks. Educating and coaching Risk owners on sound risk assessment and management methods.
- Embedding yourself in project delivery teams, driving risk discussions and becoming immersed within the teams to fully understand risks and potential mitigation plans; presenting risks in project meetings, driving the awareness of risk management and being the team representative in wider risk meetings.
- Challenging Risk owners on the emergence of new risks and holding them accountable to ensure that they are delivering on agreed actions.
- Proactively identifying and escalating concerns related to information security, risks and privacy.
- Collecting, analyzing, and presenting data, information, and metrics to drive compliance and provide advice to executive decision makers.
- Coordinating, tracking, supporting, and reporting on responses to audit findings and developing recommendations.
- Assisting in identifying knowledge gaps and co-ordinating / providing awareness training.
- Identification of opportunities for continuous process improvement.
- Collaboration with key stakeholders and supporting the implementation of systems, tools, and processes to deliver meaningful improvements.
**Does This Describe You?**:
- You may come from a Risk Management, Project Management or Digital Delivery background.
- You have effective stakeholder engagement, communication, consultation, and coordination skills.
- Understands the concepts of how risks are managed.
- Has experience working in IT, with an understanding of how digital solutions are delivered.
Is inquisitive by nature with a growth mindset.
- Enjoys working with others in a fast-paced environment, often with simultaneous activities and deadlines, and at times conflicting and changing priorities.
- Has a history of being able to manage their own time with ability to complete activities independently.
- Any certifications in the Risk, Compliance or Security areas would be considered advantageous.
- You are a self-motivated, open-minded collaborator and thrive working in a flexible and multidisciplinary team.
