**Key Responsibilities**
- Coaching and training and auditing of operating staff in the level 1 team including standard checking and some calibration of equipment.
- Analysing quality information in support of level 2 team.
- Auditing QC systems and benchmarking quality performance.
- QA/QC systems work including custodianship of packaging laboratory standards.
- Manage the supplier non-conformance reporting system and drive continuous improvement with suppliers.
- Investigate, report and implement corrective actions for consumer and customer complaints.
- Safeguard our quality systems and documentation with precision and care, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
- Tackle quality issues head-on, fostering collaboration with stakeholders onsite and off to bridge any gaps and drive continuous improvement.
- Strategise, supervise, and coordinate resources for our quality function, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.

- With your degree in Food Technology, Science, or related fields, you're primed and ready to make your mark within the next step of your quality journey.
- Demonstrated experience in quality assurance roles, preferably within the FMCG/Food manufacturing arenas.
- A strategic mind versed in SPC or similar quality capability methodologies, ready to elevate our processes.
- Your intimate knowledge of GMP, and HACCP principles ensures our operations are always top-notch.
- Prior experience in document control and database management? Check Your meticulous attention to detail sets you apart from the rest.
- You have a proven track record in driving and managing change initiatives, guiding teams through transitions with resilience and adaptability.
- You have a desire to lead and develop others to achieve their full potential, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.
- Advanced computer skills, including office package.
- Problem solving and root cause analysis.
