**Quality Assurance Officer**

This is a rare employment opportunity for a Quality Assurance Officer to work within a food manufacturing environment and to join a team which has a successful history of growth and innovation within the food manufacturing sector.

Responsibility:

- To Support the compliance process for maintenance and improvement of site certifications including HACCP, SQF, Halal, Kosher, SafeFood and WSEP (Woolworths Supplier Excellence Program)
- Coordinating and conducting internal audit programs, assisting in supplier non[1]conformances and customer complaint investigations
- Liaising regularly with site management on quality, environmental and compliance matters
- Assisting with the development and monitoring of quality assurance systems including developing policies and procedures and monitoring for compliance
- Supporting development and implementation of quality system procedures training
- Microbiological, food safety and allergen knowledge
- Full working rights in Australia
- Practical computer skills - Medium / Advance Microsoft 365 knowledge
- Attentiveness - Essential to have with an eye for detail
- Good communication skills
- Energetic and proactive
- Possess the ability to develop relationships with a variety of stakeholders
- Organised individual and able to work independently
- Available to work Full Time Monday-Friday 11-7pm

Desirable qualifications and experience include:

- HACCP training
- Internal auditing training
- Familiar with SQF Certification or similar food safety schemes
- Experience in quality control / quality assurance within food manufacturing
- Familiar with manufacturing environments and fast-paced/seasonal production demands
