More About Your New Position
In this newly designed role of Quality & Compliance Lead – Procured Products, Iplex Strathpine, you will play a vital role in ensuring the integrity and reliability of the products we source from our vendor partners. You'll work closely with our procurement and quality teams to guide the onboarding of new suppliers, assess compliance with relevant standards, and develop tailored quality plans that help safeguard our operations.
Your day-to-day will involve reviewing product applications, managing vendor certifications, and coordinating audits, all with a focus on building collaborative relationships and fostering continuous improvement. Whether you're analysing risk, supporting inbound goods inspections, or contributing to national quality initiatives, your work will help ensure our customers receive products they can trust. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across our business. You will be empowered to shape quality systems, lead training initiatives, and provide insights through detailed reporting and performance analysis.
Responsibilities- Review product applications and manage vendor certifications
- Coordinate audits and assess compliance with relevant standards
- Guide onboarding of new suppliers and develop tailored quality plans
- Analyse risk and contribute to national quality initiatives
- Support inwards goods inspections and supplier performance reporting
- Lead training initiatives and provide insights through detailed reporting and performance analysis
- Proven ability to design and manage vendor quality plans based on risk assessment
- Comfortable navigating technical standards; plumbing knowledge is a plus
- Hands-on experience conducting quality audits within vendor manufacturing environments
- Open and adaptable to learning new technical standards with a proactive approach to audit participation
- Commitment to upholding quality standards with integrity and values-driven mindset
- Excellent communication with experience in designing presentations, reports and responses
