**Head of Programs - Writing/Literacy | Sydney - Inner West/West**

SchoolHouse is working in partnership with a not-for-profit creative writing centre for young people in under-resourced communities across Sydney and NSW. The organisation builds writing skills, confidence and creativity through specially created writing programs delivered by experienced and passionate educators.

**Role Highlights**
- Head of Programs - Writing/Literacy
- Leadership position within a non-for-profit education specific organisation
- Full Time, Permanent Position
- Negotiable start date, ideally before February 2025
- Office based role in Sydney across two branches, both nearby to each other

**Requirements**:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications (Bachelor of Education, etc.)
- Current NESA Accreditation** and WWCC (or eligibility to gain)
- Excellent communication skills
- Motivation and a passion to work with and support young people on their journey through secondary education
- Enthusiasm and flexibility with the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment
- Ability and desire to actively support the values and ethos of a Catholic school
- Working Rights for Australia (or eligible to gain)
