The Motor Trade Association of SA/NT (MTA) is the peak employer organisation dedicated to protecting and growing the retail, service and repair sector for the South Australian and Northern Territory automotive industry. With revenue circa $30m, over 1,300 members and 80 staff, the MTA is a valued business partner of the industry, delivering a wide range of services to its members. It is both a Registered and Group Training Organisation. The MTA is the largest training provider and employer of automotive apprentices in South Australia delivering training to over 900 apprentices and employment through host businesses to 450 Apprentices.

A unique opportunity has emerged for a passionate and committed human resources generalist to lead the People and Culture team. This important role will report directly to the CEO and lead both strategic and operational HR initiatives including:

- providing specialist services as a trusted advisor to the executives, managers and employees;
- facilitating end to end talent management services incorporating recruitment, induction, performance management and career development;
- promoting a positive culture and administering a safe, harmonious and healthy work environment for staff and students;
- undertaking special people and culture projects and deriving maximum value from the MTA HRIS.
