The Head of Development must also support the data and optimisation, analytics and conversion approach, and accept general responsibilities associated with the position.

Role Responsibilities:

- Leadership and development of Metronome Platforms and tech solutions
- Operational Leadership of external tech resources (i.e. free-lancers)
- Technical and code maintenance of existing websites
- Development/Programming of new desktop and mobile sites
- Manage development and hosting environments
- Development and Programming Standards - Maintain and set the tone for the high standard within the development team, from planning through to execution.
- Have an overall understanding and broader management role for our Wordpress website maintenance and Development
- Mobile/Tablet Application (Evolving offering)
- Integration of technology, software, SAAS
- Integration experience of Google Products (Analytics, Events, Tracking, Conversion, Ad Manager)
- Understanding of webmaster Tools - SEO / Sitemap Integration
- Use of BitBucket, GIT, SASS, composer, docker etc.

Maintenance of Server Infrastructure - Understanding of managing and monitoring server infrastructures (VPS) and liaising with third parties when required.

General Metronome Responsibilities and Expectations:

- Demonstration of Metronome Values: Particularly Be Accountable, Create Meaning, Control the Tempo, Foster Courage and Maximise Impact
- Accurate and timely system and purchase updates
- Attendance at meetings and internal project reviews as required
- Proactive and regular reviews and enhancements of systems and procedures
- Company website contributions as required
- Shared office duties, such as kitchen roster and maintaining a tidy, neat studio

Performance Measures
- Leadership: Tech contractor/free-lance proficiency, performance and behaviours
- Ability to identify evolving technology and implement/utilise this effectively within the Metronome business
- Timeliness - effective prioritisation and task management to ensure client and Metronome needs are met
- Adherence to and utilisation of scheduling and project planning
- Accuracy and quality of Development Work
- Systems accuracy and reliability
- Relationships and effective collaboration between digital teams and client project managers
- Marked improvement in quality control and testing

Work Experience
- Commercial experience (3 years +)
- IT/Development Experience (5 years +)
- Leadership Experience (ideal)
- Property Tech Experience (ideal)

**Skills**:

- Coding knowledge (PHP essential)
- Relational Databases experience (MysQL desirable)
- AWS Infrastructure (desirable)
- JIRA/GIT, SASS knowledge (strongly desirable)

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Melbourne, VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
