**About the Opportunity**
In this exciting career opportunity you will facilitate warehouse and dispatch activities through safe operation of forklifts, manual handling, general warehouse/yard work, administration and stock control.

Key responsibilities:

- Loading and unloading goods including inspection, dispatch and issuing inventory
- Ensuring inventory records are maintained including stocktaking, stock monitoring, stock returns and excess stock disposals
- Coordinating freight movement and associated transport companies
- Ensuring all materials, supplies, tools and equipment are requisitioned, received, examined and recorded
- Review inventory, records and departmental uses of supplied in order to prevent over stocking of materials with lower turnover rate
- Make-up orders ready for shipping, including manual handling of sliding sheets onto stacks
- Communicate effectively with customers and other stakeholders to ensure timely, safe and accurate product delivery

**About You**
- Current LF Forklift Ticket
- Demonstrated experience in a warehouse environment, experience with fibre cement/plasterboard products is highly regarded
- Experience operating a 5/7t forklift
- Effective communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to communicate at all levels
- Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work autonomously within a team environment
- Basic computer literacy.
