Britex Carpet Care has serviced both the professional and the Do-It-Yourself carpet cleaning market in Australia for over 30 years through the hire and service of carpet cleaning products and machines.

The focus of this role is to manage the warehouse facility for 3 days per week inclusive of packing & dispatch of orders. To assist in the repair of the Britex & Rug Doctor rental machines and to ensure the safety and efficiency of these machines through thorough inspection and maintenance, prior to their deployment to retail stores. Provide assistance & coverage to service retail stores in accordance with company standards when required.

THE ROLE
- Picking, packing & preparation of products for dispatch
- Checking & inspecting of goods received then organisation of stock within the warehouse
- Loading & unloading of vehicles that come to the warehouse
- Coordination with transport companies
- Assemble & test hire/commercial machines & components based on Britex/Rug Doctor specifications prior to delivery to customer/stores
- Diagnose faults & repair accordingly.
- Adhere to company OH&S guidelines at all times
- Use of electrical, mechanical & air tools correctly & safely
- Provide field assistance & coverage to service retail stores in accordance with company standards when required
- Check, maintain & ordering of spare parts
- 3 days per week / days to be decided

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Stock control experience
- Good maintenance ability to repair Britex/Rug Dr equipment
- Experience in coordinating at all levels of freight & logistics operations
- Field maintenance skills preferred but not essential as training given
- Thorough understanding of OH&S
- Strong communications skills both verbal & written
- Excellent people management & customer focus with can do attitude at all times
- Physically fit with ability to lift up to 25kg
- Proficiency in MS Office & freight software
- Full Australian Driving licence essential
- Forklift licence

**Salary**: $26.00 - $27.00 per hour
