**The Role**
Reporting to the Head of Commercial Pricing & Client Profitability RSS, this role will have a crucial part to play in developing pricing structures for RSS’s products and client contracts to both drive improved alignment between cost drivers and pricing, to provide transparency to clients, and drive the divisions profitability, by better aligning pricing with cost drivers. This will include pricing models for products, client renewals, new clients, and new business opportunities. The role will also play an important role in driving client profitability with the Client Partnership team by providing client profitability to the client partners and guidance on ways to improve profitability by assisting with messaging to clients.
**Key Accountabilities and main responsibilities**
- Support Client Partnerships Managers with client renewals as well as contract variations.
- Work with the Product Managers to develop pricing and commercial options for pricing products.
- Provide advice and guidance on commercial pricing options and discussions.
- Support client renewals and contract variations with robust financial models.
- Demonstrate strong self-leadership by showing initiative and demonstrating professional behaviours.
- Work collaboratively with the broader Finance team members and across the business.
**Experience & Personal Attributes**
- CA/CPA/CFA qualified or equivalent with years of experience working in a variety of Finance roles. Time spent in an analytical role such as Financial Planning and Analysis, Finance Business Partnering, Commercial Finance, Corporate Finance, Strategic Delivery. Financial services industry experience would be ideal.
- Strong knowledge of Management Accounting/Corporate Finance principles with a working knowledge of accounting standards.
- Strong experience in financial modelling and performance reporting.
- Worked in a large and complex corporate environment.
- Strong working knowledge of customer profitability drivers.
- Experience preparing data/packs for Executive level forums.
- Excellent financial modelling skills with intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Ability to truly “connect the dots” between customer contracts, operational processes, and financial outcomes. Working knowledge of enterprise accounting software/ERP systems, such as Hyperion, TM1, PeopleSoft.
