An exciting opportunity to join the Strategic Planning and Programs (SPP) team as a Strategy Analyst, where you will be able to utilise your analytical mindset and proven experience using data to drive business outcomes and improve business processes.
A bit about your role
As a Strategy Analyst, you are proactive in identifying issues and producing innovative solutions to complex business problems. You will have end-to-end product ownership of critical cost estimation automation tools. This includes architecting, developing, and improving modelling capability/tools to accurately estimate cost and benefits associated with network investments.
You will drive the consolidation and simplification of existing cost modelling tools in use across nbn, and adoption of advanced tools into business practices across nbn. You will collaborate with stakeholders across the business to ensure alignment, transparency and strong governance of inputs, assumptions and outputs of models and tools. Moreover, you are to prepare and present scenario analysis for input into business cases and strategic projects.
This role involves providing analytics support for strategic projects and responses to requests from senior stakeholders, ExCo/Board, and external stakeholders. You will drive automation of manual activities through system and process improvements and drive effective governance processes; documentation of business processes, modelling assumptions and logic to establish clear traceability and accountability for cross-functional projects
A bit about you
You are experienced in analytics tools tool such as SQL, R, Python, or Alteryx. You will ideally have geospatial analysis experience including Postgis, geopandas, QGIS and BI reporting tools such as Tableau.
