We are on a mission to support people in living dignified and meaningful lives and we’re looking for a passionate, values-aligned executive to help lead the way.

We’re currently seeking a General Manager, Quality, Risk and Compliance to join our Executive Leadership Team. This pivotal role will drive MiCare’s Quality and Risk Management Framework, ensuring that our services meet the highest standards of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.

**The Role**

As General Manager, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across all areas of quality, risk, clinical governance, and compliance. You’ll embed an ‘accreditation-ready’ culture across the organisation and ensure MiCare consistently meets and exceeds its obligations to clients, staff, and regulators.

This role also provides oversight of work health and safety, manages compliance with relevant legislation, leads our internal quality team, and supports clinical operations across our Support at Home service. You’ll report directly to the CEO and play a key role in shaping MiCare’s future as a trusted and responsive provider.

**What You’ll Do**
- Lead the implementation of MiCare’s Quality and Risk Management Framework.
- Oversee organisational compliance with legislation, industry standards and funding requirements.
- Prepare and guide MiCare through audits, accreditations and external inspections.
- Provide clinical governance for home care services and support best-practice models of care.
- Build strong relationships with regulators and key stakeholders.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, safety and high performance.
- Lead and support a talented team of quality, compliance and clinical professionals.
- Work across all MiCare locations required, however the role is flexible to be based from Carrum Downs or Kilsyth offices

**What We’re Looking For**
- AHPRA registration or relevant tertiary qualifications in a health-related field.
- Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership role in aged care, health or community services.
- Deep knowledge of compliance and quality standards in the aged care sector (ISO, Aged Care Quality Standards, NDIS, etc.).
- Demonstrated success leading risk, safety and compliance systems in a complex service environment.
- Proven people leadership and the ability to drive cultural and organisational change.
- Exceptional communication skills and experience engaging with Boards, regulators and cross-functional teams.
- Strong strategic, analytical and operational capabilities.
