**About the role...**

We are seeking a professional to join our supportive and progressive Quality Team. You will be working with our home care team and previous experience in home care would be highly valued along with qualifications in business or health. Based at our Carrum Downs site, this position provides support to and under the direction of the Manager Quality, Risk and Compliance, working with all Home Care programs.

The focus of this position is to drive continuous improvement activities including monitoring and documenting outcomes and coordination of the Home Care programs quality management systems to ensure compliance is maintained, and contributing to effective change under the new Aged Care Standards.

This position focuses on being a core support to the Home Care business unit with collation of monthly performance data, coordinating home care training and maintaining a register, auditing process schedules and analysis across Home Care. In addition, the coordination of Client Incident and the Risk Management System for Home Care including monitoring of complaints / incidents/ hazards and reporting and outcomes, and management of the Home Care Consumer Participation Groups.

**About you...**

You are Self-motivated with a flexible, caring and patient attitude. You have experience in working with other cultures and languages and an ability to effectively manage time.

**Qualifications**
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Care Management, quality improvement and risk management or other relevant discipline would be highly regarded
- Minimum diploma level qualification in a relevant field with evidence of further training and development, or equivalent workplace experience.

**Skills**:

- Experienced in all aspects of Home Care
- Demonstrated experience and high level working knowledge and understanding of the Aged Care Standards.
- Demonstrated experience in the successful implementation and planning of quality, safety and risk management systems.
- Able to prepare reports, assist in policy review and deliver presentations to multiple audiences
- High level of experience in the monitoring and evaluation of quality outcomes.
- Skilled in undertaking root cause analysis
- Previous experience working with Community Aged Care/Home Care programs and government agencies.
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and people from diverse backgrounds.

**A police check with no disclosable outcome, medicare evidence of current flu vaccination and full COVID-19 vaccination, including dose 3 is required by MiCare for this position.**

**A commitment to work exclusively with MiCare Aged Care facility as your only employer during COVID-19 will be highly regarded.**
