**The role**:
The Technical Specialist participates as a member of a team that operates and supports the Yurika Telecoms’ Communications network (YurikaNet). The team works to deliver and manage Telecommunications services to a high level of customer satisfaction meeting agreed service quality levels in accordance with the YurikaNet’s Service Levels Agreements (SLAs) for both internal Energy Queensland customers and external Commercial customers.

Critical to your success in the role is your significant demonstrated technical knowledge and experience in Telecommunications network design and implementation. Your demonstrated business acumen and understanding of commercial sales practices, particularly technical pre-sales and customer service, is highly regarded. Additionally, you have:

- Associate Diploma in IT or equivalent level qualifications in an IT or Telecommunications discipline;
- Juniper Networks Certified Internet qualifications (_Associate level as a minimum, Professional level is highly desirable)_;
- Demonstrated strong technical problem solving skills that will enable the development of customised technical solutions, without assistance, that meet customer requirements and maximise retention;
