**Position Objective**

To provide financial and administrative support to the Group Accountant to ensure efficient, accurate and timely processing and analysis of data.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensure all accounts payable invoices are appropriately authorised and coded, including GST treatment
- Entering accounts payable invoices into MYOB Advanced
- Generate weekly EFT payment runs
- Maintain a filing system for all financial documents
- Liaising with staff for any accounts payable related enquiries
- Assist the Group Accountant with any other ad hoc tasks that may be required from time to time

**Competencies required**:

- Excellent written and spoken communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail
- Numerical ability and data entry skills
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Proficient use of MYOB Advanced and Excel
- Minimum 1 year accounting experience
