**Madman Entertainment** is looking for an **Accounts Payable Officer** to join our team and take control of the Accounts Payable function. If you have 2+ years experience in Accounts Payable and have always wanted to work in film and media, we’d love to hear from you

Madman is one of Australasia’s leading independent film and television distributors; licensing and distributing content into cinemas, film festivals, television, discs and digital platforms across Australia and New Zealand.

**As the Accounts Payable Officer your key responsibilities will include**:

- Ensuring all local creditors are processed; coded appropriately and managed through the authorisation process on time.
- Ensuring all applicable tax legislation procedures are followed
- Process domestic and international payments accurately and in accordance with Withholding Tax obligations (WHT)
- Ensure timely processing and payment of employee expense claims and credit card statements using Concur
- Provide advice and training to employees on Concur processes
- Run relevant reports when requested, including Aged Trial Balance, complete with analysis
- Perform month-end related duties including reconciliation of accounts, supplier statements, credit cards and processing journals
- Review all Royalty payments and accurately process as per the Royalty Schedule and in accordance with WHT obligations
- A minimum 2 years’ experience in an accounts payable role
- A desire to learn
- A desire to fully run the Accounts Payable function
- Experience with Sage and Concur would be fantastic but not mandatory
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Be confident with a can-do, hands-on attitude
- Take ownership, work autonomously and take pride in their responsibilities
- Ability to work with a small, dedicated team
- Excellent attention to detail
