Reporting to the Senior Governance Officer, this position partners with and supports business units to deliver good governance. The role’s responsibilities include oversight of City of Ballarat’s governance, Council and Committee meeting agendas and minutes, policy and procedure framework, and supporting the integrity function within City of Ballarat. The position works in a dynamic and varied environment with a collaborative and fun team, as we support good governance across the City of Ballarat.

Completion of a degree or diploma course in governance/policy/law or relevant field with extensive relevant experience. This might also be acquired through lesser formal qualifications and substantial relevant experience, or through substantial relevant experience in the field of governance/policy/law or relevant field.
