A seasoned professional is required to fill a Participant Support Officer position in a federal government organization.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing participant-related matters by completing planning tasks
  • Providing support services for internal and external stakeholders, including assistance with self-help kiosks and online resources
  • Responding to customer inquiries, providing information and referring customers to relevant government or community services as needed
  • Coordinating appointments and ensuring facilities are accessible to participants
  • Conducting research and investigation activities, preparing reports and correspondence
  • Completing data entry tasks and following up on outstanding items
  • Receiving and documenting complaints and feedback within business systems

To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will possess:

  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to manage conflict and sensitive conversations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
  • Initiative and ability to work independently
  • Capacity to learn new systems and processes

Full-time hours and an initial 12-month contract are offered, with the possibility of extension.
