Hays is currently partnered with a Government Client seeking a Customer Support Officer to commence ASAP on a temporary 3 month full time assignment.

**Your new role**
- Provide resources to empower people to deal with related issues through use of relevant websites.
- Accurately record the details of applicants and cardholders calls into the relevant databases and registers, undertaking basic analysis as required to identify trends.
- Identify and recommend service delivery and process improvement opportunities
- Under supervision, assist in the implementation of any new policies, procedures and guidelines.
- Assist with routine projects and programs under direction
- Liaise with relevant community, sector and public groups, government and semi-government bodies.
- Demonstrate understanding of procedures for effectively dealing with people exhibition challenging behaviours
- Treat all enquiries sensitively and fairly by providing information and advice which is appropriate to the different cultural and educational backgrounds of clients.

**What you'll need to succeed**

To succeed, you will need:

- x3 COVID-19 vaccination status
- Full Australian Working Rights
- Experience in a contact centre and/or customer service environment
- IT proficiency
- Exceptional communication skills
- A customer centric attitude; polite and professional when dealing with others
